If you'd like to attend #ldnxmasbloggermeet then please let me know by Tuesday 1st November (a week today). By having a deadline, it'll be much easier to let our sponsors know and keep track of numbers. Please make sure that I have you on the list. If I don't, please email me at the-daisychain@hotmail.co.uk and I'll add you on :) I am really looking forward to the day and I am looking forward to meeting some new people.
Puja will be attending the meet and will be bringing her friend Jasmine. Jasmine isn't a blogger but is very enthusiastic about film and media and asked if it would be okay if she was to film the day. I thought this would be a great way to document and remember the day, but of course I would ask you all first. If you do not want to be filmed on the day, please let me know by email.

#ldnbloggermeet - lush

I usually have showers, not baths, so it has taken me a while to review these products. I tried the Twilight bath bomb and It's Raining Men shower gel for your body and hair by Lush. I got these products from #ldnbloggermeet which Laura kindly organised for us.

I've got to say, I don't know why I don't have baths more often. The bath bomb was amazing and smelt so nice! I thought I'd missing having huge amounts of bubbles, but I really didn't. I don't usually like anything to do with honey, but the It's Raining Men shower gel is absolutely gorgeous. I will be buying some more Lush bath bombs for sure! I knew my time was up in the bath when I woke myself up, snoring haha!

Lush also gave us some Toothy Tabs with out gifts for #ldnbloggermeet. I have weird gums and have to have sensitive tooth paste, so thought it best I give this one a miss.

a blogger's birthday

I started talking to Laura on twitter quite a while ago. It started off with blog talk but now I consider Laura to be a true friend. I was so pleased when I finally got to meet her at the London Blogger Meet. I am sure there is going to be many fun times ahead.

Laura is absolutely lovely, a huge inspiration and one of the kindest people I have ever met. I wanted to wish Laura a huge Happy Birthday and what is a birthday without a small present?

It's only something small but I wanted to give her something on her big day! I got the card from Paperchase and the bird from East of India.

I hope you have a great day Laura!

Laura's blog is here and twitter is here.

feeling festive #1 - secret santa in september

I like to mix things up a bit. A few years ago I suggested to my friends that we do our Christmas presents half way through the year. At Christmas, we all rarely have much spare money as it goes on presents for the family and going out. We usually swap presents in June but this year it got a bit delayed as my lovely friend Cathy was still in Germany. We met on the last day of September and swapped presents and had a huge catch up!
I  picked my friend Cathy out of the hat. I was pleased that I got her because I know exactly what she likes. I decided to make her a present this year.

Cathy loves Eurpoe and this quote, so I thought I'd put the two together. She absolutely loved it and I was so pleased!

Cathy picked my name out of the hat and she got me an amazing present.

I love the style of the magnetic frame and the pictures my friend chose to include. Inside the box is a wax letter sealer. Me and Cathy has writted letters to each other for the last year whilst she was in Germany. We liked it so much that, now she's back, we're going to continue writing letters to each other now she's living in London. Btw, I will be spending a lot of weekends in London looking for cheap/free things to do! Suggestions would be brilliant... :D

keep calm and carry on

Sarah for Temporary Secretary was a brilliant sponsor for #ldnbloggermeet. Since then I can not keep off of her amazing shop. I bought this beautiful necklace and I am sure that I will be buying a lot more. I am a sucker for pretty packaging, and look how beautiful this all was...

Thank you so much, Sarah, for such a pretty necklace. x
