[enter name] necklace

I have been a fan of Sex and The City for quite a while. The series and films remind me of my 3 friends; Cathy, Jess and Becca. I think season 3 is my favourite and, believe it or not, I prefer the second film. I know there were a lot of bad reviews about this film but I think it is more fun, light hearted and hilariously funny.
I love the fashion the girls wear. As the TV series has been going on for years, it is good to see how styles have changed throughout time. One thing that has stood the test of time if the Carrie necklace. I absolutely love it and so I recently bought myself my very own Emma necklace. I got it from The one I got is on an 18" (45cm) chain and I absolutly love it :]

turn blue

Today at work we had a Dress Down Day in order to raise money for charity. The chosen charity for today was Everyman's Campaign who are trying to help stamp out male cancer. The theme for today was the colour blue; I decided to use my new Models Own nail varnish. The colour is Feeling Blue.

iced coffee

I was addicted to Iced Coffee in Australia. Since my local Starbucks stopped selling my usual Double Espresso and Milk I was a bit lost. I decided to make my own Iced Coffee. It was actually really nice and I'm pleased that I will be able to get my coffee fix.
Use the normal amount of instant coffee you usually use. I used 3 teaspoons. Add about 2 to 3 inches of hot water. Add ice straight away, this will make the water cool down really quickly. Once cool, top up with as much milk as you please; as you can see I use quite a lot :] enjoy!

london town

Above is me and my friend Amy on Fraser Island, Australia. Today we met up in London for some major catching up. I haven't seen her in about 8 months and it was so nice to see her again. Although I had such a good day, it was so sad looking back on the fabulous trip we had.
We met outside Topshop, Oxford Street. After that torturous experience, we made our way Paperchase as I had to get a few bits for a Secret Santa present (I will explain these details another time ;]). We had a lovely lunch in Garfunkel's and cold coffee in Cafe Nero. We are not going to leave it so long next time. I love that I still get to see the friends I made whilst travelling!

It wasn't until I got home that I found out there was a parade for the Queen's Official Birthday. I am kinda gutted because I would of loved to have gone and been part of the crowd. Since the Royal Wedding I love the Royal Family a little bit more.

barry m & models own

I am a huge fan of Barry M nail varnish. I love the wide range of colours and I think they go on really well. Today I went to get a light blue nail varnish but, unfortunately, there weren't any in stock. Instead of waiting for it, I decided to be brave and try a different brand. I went for Models Own. It was 3 for 2, so I thought why not.
I got the blue nail varnish which I was on a hunt for. I also want one slightly lighter than this one but I thought this was a pretty colour. I got the coral coloured nail varnish because I think that it will look nice with a tan in the summer - that's hoping that I get a tan this year! I will change my finger nail colour all the time but when it comes to painting my toes, I hate it. So I bought the neutral colour for my toes as I thought that it would go with most of my nail colours.
I thought they all went on really well. They are more watery than I am used to but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I loved the colours I chose because they were really bright and vibrant. I am sure that I will add more colours from Models Own to my collection. I can not wait to try out some new looks with my brand new nail varnish :]

heart of gold

I thought that I would share with you some of my favourite jewellery! As you can probably tell, my colour is gold.
I got these Pearl earrings from Broome, Western Australia.
I got these Opal earrings from Coober Pedy, Southern Australia.

I got this watch from Asos - excuse all the scratches; it went travelling with me.
Both of these rings are from Primark.

sail away with me

Today I got this little treat in the post. I am so in love with East of India at the moment. They do the cutest vintage items that will look just lovely in my room. I bought this off of eBay and I have many more items in my watching list. I bought this boat because it reminds me of the sea side and how I do like to be beside the seaside. It's cute, British and adorable!
